RET Rotterdam a comandat 103 autobuze hibride VDL Citea + 40 autobuze diesel euro 6. Cele diesel au tehnologia start-stop, adică motorul e oprit la stopuri sau în stații.
RET a comandat deja 55 de VDL-uri electrice, acestea venind în 2019. Autoritățile încearcă să se conformeze cu noua lege olandeză, care interzice achiziția de autobuze diesel din 2025 și interzice serviciile cu autobuze altele decât electrice din 2030.

Astazi s-a semnat contractul pentru livrarea a 30 de garnituri CAF M7. Intelegerea prevede o optiune de alte 30 de bucati.

Prima rama va sosi in anul 2021.

Arata identic cu actualele rame Alstom Metropolis M5 doar ca vor fi cu 3 vagoane si pot fi cuplate cate doua. Din ce stiu eu ele vor inlocui actualele rame M4/S3 tot de la CAF.

GVB Amsterdam a semnat un contract cu VDL Bus & Coach pentru livrarea a 31 de autobuze electrice cu posibilitate de a achizitiona alte 69!

22 vor fi de 18 metri, iar ultimele 9 vor avea o lungime de 12 metri.

Noile autobuze vor circula pe liniile 15, 22 si 36 incepand cu anul 2020.

Primul tramvai CAF 15G este aproape gata in Zaragoza.

Intre timp, se lucreaza si la alte tramvaie care urmeaza sa fie livrate la Amsterdam.

Se estimeaza ca primul tramvai va sosi la Amsterdam in primavara, urmand ca testele sa inceapa imediat ce va fi livrat.

23 de autobuze electrice către Leiden

Operatorul Arriva a comandat în iunie 2018 23 de autobuze electrice Volvo 7900 Electric, relatează SustainableBUS. 5 au intrat deja în circulație. Mentenanța lor este asigurată de Volvo, contra unui cost lunar prestabilit. Autobuzele sunt reîncărcate prin intermediul a 5 stații de reîncărcare rapidă ABB cu interfața Oppcharge, care poate fi folosită și de către celelalte mărci de autobuze electrice.
Volvo precizează că până în luna august orașul Leiden va avea o flotă 100% electrificată.

Qbuzz cumpără 162 de autobuze electrice de la Ebusco, Heuliez și VDL

Este vorba despre:
- 60 ebusuri Ebusco 2.2 (12 metri) pentru liniile regionale. Acestea dispun de o autonomie de 400km (deci nu vor avea nevoie de Oportunity Charghing)
- 11 ebusuri VDL Citea SLF-180 (18 metri) și 32 VDL Citea SLF-120 (12 metri) pentru liniile urbane din Assen, Emmen și Groningen
- 59 ebusuri Heuliez GX 437 Elec (18 metri)

Aceste autobuze se adaugă celor 10 VDL Citea electrice aflate deja în circulație, conform SustainableBUS.

Mai mult, actuala flotă de autobuze diesel Euro 6 vor fi convertite pentru a folosi noul combustibil HVO, un biodiesel sintetic rezultat din deșeuri ce va reduce semnificativ emisiile de CO2.
În plus, Qbuzz se gândește deja la achiziționarea unui număr de 20-30 de autobuze pe hidrogen.
Eforturile depuse sunt pentru reducerea cu 90% a emisiilor de CO2 din provinciile Groningen și Drenthe, potrivit busworld.

Incepand de astazi, 25 August 2019, operatorul EBS va asigura transportul calatorilor in regiunea Haaglanden.

Flota este formata din 83 de autobuze Mercedes-Benz C2 Hybrid-Biogas, 10 Mercedes-Benz Citaro G C2 Hybrid-Biogas si 23 VDL-uri electrice - VDL Citea LLE99 Electric - pentru Delft si Zoetermeer.

Contractul se intinde pe 11 ani: 25 August 2019 - Decembrie 2030

Stuttgart / Purmerend – Quiet, highly efficient and with low emissions – that is the Mercedes-Benz Citaro NGT hybrid. From the end of August the EBS public transport company will be operating 93 of these low-floor urban buses in the Rotterdam - The Hague metropolitan area. The fleet is made up of 83 Citaro NGT hybrid solo buses and ten Citaro G NGT hybrid articulated buses. Their common characteristic is the combination of a gas-powered engine with a hybrid module.

Efficiency package reduces natural gas consumption and is gentler on the environment

EBS (Egged Bus Systems) is operating 93 urban buses on bus routes around The Hague. The EBS public transport company is located in the town of Purmerend north of Amsterdam and operates several bus routes in the Netherlands. In addition to the gas-powered engine, hybrid module and the ZF Ecolife automatic transmission, the urban buses are equipped with electrohydraulic intelligent eco steering - a recuperation module for recuperating electric power - and LED headlamps.

Passengers enjoy an air-conditioned passenger compartment, comfortable Inter Star Eco overland seats with particularly high backrests and infotainment with TFT screens in a 29-inch format (two on solo buses or three on articulated buses). Passengers can charge their own end devices using numerous USB ports. The striking red design of the vehicle floor as well as the grab rails and ceiling hand rails also convey a feeling of safety to visually impaired passengers.

Citaro NGT hybrid: a hybrid module supports the gas-powered engine when pulling away

The combination of a gas-powered engine with a hybrid module is a unique selling point for the Citaro NGT hybrid in Europe. The Mercedes-Benz M 936 G gas-powered engine delivers 222 kW (302 hp) from 7.7 l displacement and achieves a maximum torque of 1200 Nm. When used in conjunction with biogas or biomethane, the Citaro NGT hybrid is almost CO2 neutral.

The electric motor of the hybrid module supports the gas-powered engine primarily when the vehicle pulls away and the demand for power is high with an output of up to 14 kW and 220 Nm torque. The ability to provide for this maximum demand in power reduces fuel consumption, which is already low, by up to 8.5 percent. Accordingly, emissions are lower. The use of the hybrid module also further reduces the low noise levels of the natural-gas engine when pulling away. The electric power for the electric motor is recuperated during braking and overrun phases at no cost. It is stored in double-layer capacitors – so-called supercaps.

RET Rotterdam primeste sprijinul BEI pentru achizitia a 105 autobuze electrice si 103 autobuze diesel-electric prin acordarea unui imprumut de 115 milioane de euro.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has signed a loan agreement worth EUR 115 million with public transport provider RET of Rotterdam and the Metropole-region Rotterdam-The Hague (MRDH). RET will use the financing to acquire new electric and diesel-hybrid buses and install related charging infrastructure. It will also renew tram and metro tracks in various points around the city. Earlier, the EIB already financed the new metros running on the recently opened “Hoekse Lijn” from Rotterdam centre to Hoek van Holland.

The financing is made possible with support from the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Debt Instrument and from the Juncker Plan’s European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI). Furthermore, RET will also receive a subsidy from CEF for the investments towards electric buses and the related charging infrastructure.

European Commissioner for Transport, Violeta Bulc, said: “We are happy to support Rotterdam’s efforts in making its public transport more sustainable through the Investment Plan for Europe. The city sets an example for the transition to low-emission mobility across Europe.”

RET is currently implementing a strategy, meaning that Rotterdam will comply with the Dutch goal of having only emission-free buses far earlier that the national goal of 2030. Specifically, the EIB loan will be used to acquire 105 electric buses and 103 diesel-hybrid buses. Investments will also be made towards the installation of charging infrastructure in the depots (32 charging points) as well as along the bus routes (17 charging points). Finally, RET will also renew the metro and tram tracks in nearly 70 locations around the city.

EIB Vice-President Vazil Hudak stated: “With its strategy to switch over to completely emission-free vehicles, Rotterdam is a front-runner, and this loan is an important step in that process. The EIB is happy to support modern, comfortable transport for all citizens of Rotterdam, which will also contribute to better air quality in the city.”

Incepand de maine, 21 Octombrie 2019, configuratia tramvaiele de la Centraal Station va fi modificata, tramvaiele urmand a-si modifica peroanele.

Toate acestea se intampla din cauza lucrarilor la podul Prins Hendrikkade.

In acest sens, in cursul acestei saptamani, multe dintre tramvaiele din Amsterdam au primit flayere de informare, fiind agatate de barile de sustinere. Calatorii puteau "rupe" un flayer cu informatia aferenta, dar si cu noua configuratie de la gara. Foaia era printata color.
