Île-de-France: RER (Réseau Express Régional) Dragos31

RER (Réseau Express Régional) reprezinta modalitatea rapida de transport pe calea ferata intre Paris si suburbiile acestuia (regiunea Île-de-France).

In Paris, garniturile RER circula in tuneluri aflate la adancime mai mare fata de cele ale retelei de metrou, iar pe restul traseului la suprafata.

Sunt in exploatare 5 linii:

O calatorie cu reteaua RER in Paris (zona 1) are tariful identic cu cel al unei calatorii cu metroul/autobuzul - 1,90 euro, acest pret crescand pe masura ce te indepartezi de oras (zonele 2, 3, 4 si 5).

De asemenea, titlul de calatorie trebuie validat atat la intrarea, cat si la iesirea din statiile RER, astfel incat, spre exemplu, sa nu poti iesi in zona 4 daca ai bilet valabil pentru zonele 1 si 2 :mrgreen:

Linia A este cea mai aglomerata dintre cele 5 linii ale sistemului RER, asigurand transportul pe axa est-vest a Île-de-France si fiind exploatata in intregime cu rame etajate (MI2N  si MI09).

Prima sectiune a acesteia a fost inaugurata in anul 1969 intre Boissy-Saint-Léger si Nation, iar la momentul actual lungimea totala a liniei este de aprox. 108,5 km si deserveste zilnic 1,2 milioane de pasageri.

Linia B este cea de-a doua linie exploatata de catre RATP si SNCF, asigurand transportul pe axa sud-nord a Ile-de-France. Aceasta ajunge la cele doua mari aeroporturi ale capitalei franceze - Charles de Gaulle si Orly.

Primul tronson al acesteia dateaza din 1846 intre Massy si Denfert-Rochereau, purtand la acea vreme denumirea de  ''Ligna de Sceaux''.

Are un total de 80 de kilometri si 47 de statii.

Este exploatata cu rame MI79 si MI84.

Linia C a fost inaugurata in anul 1979, avand ultima prelungire in anul 2006. Este a doua ce mai lunga linie RER, cu un total de 187 de kilometri si peste 540 000 de pasageri zilnic.

Este exploatata cu rame Z5600, Z8800, Z20500 si Z20900.

Linia D a fost inaugurata in anul 1987 intre Villiers-le-Bel si Gare du Nord, avand ultima prelungire in 1996 si 190 de kilometri la momentul actual.

Este cea mai lunga dintre cele 5 linii RER, transporta zilnic aprox. 615 000 de pasageri pe axa nord-sud a Ile-de-France si este exploatata cu rame Z5600 si Z20500.

Linia E este cea mai noua si scurta din reteaua RER, avand 52,3 kilometri si inaugurarea in 1999 intre Haussmann - Saint-Lazare si Chelles-Gournay si ultima prelungire in 2003.

Este exploatata cu rame Z22500 si Z50000.

The French rail operators RATP and SNCF Voyageurs and Île‐de‐France Mobilités have reached an agreement with Alstom-Bombardier and CAF consortium for the construction of the MI20 train fleet for Paris RER Line B.

The discussions that have taken place for several weeks have enabled the new Alstom-Bombardier group to take note of the terms of the contract and to address their concerns, allowing the Alstom-Bombardier / CAF consortium to engage in the execution of the contract on the basis of the notified market.

A meeting between RATP / SNCF Voyageurs and the Alstom-Bombardier / CAF consortium held on April 13, made it possible to confirm the consortium’s commitment to the execution of the contract and to initiate next steps in its implementation.

For the tender announced in 2018, Alstom and Bombardier Transportation – CAF consortium submitted their bids and in December 2020, the consortium was announced as the winner of the contract. Soon after the announcement, Alstom claimed at the Administrative Court of Paris (Tribunal Administratif de Paris) that the bidding process was irregular. The institution has suspended the train acquisition and following the process, in January the Court rejected Alstom’s appeal, paving the way for RATP and SNCF Voyageurs, to award the contract. On January 13, 2021, the contract was awarded to Bombardier / CAF consortium.

Following the completion of Bombardier Transportation acquisition, Alstom reviewed the technical and financial bid submitted by the consortium before announcing on February 3 that it has planned to renegotiate the contract. The highlighted irregularities concerned the gauge of the new trains that did not comply with the standards, the proposed bogies, the train development schedule, as well as the proposed value of the offer submitted by the consortium.

The tender covers the supply of 146 electric multiple units totalling EUR 2.56 billion, which is financed by the Île-de-France Mobilités. The train procurement is essential to modernise the RER B train fleet operating the second Europe’s busiest line, after the RER A.

146 electric multiple units will be manufactured for the suburban line operated by both RATP and SNCF and serving the French capital in northbound/southbound directions.

To improve the quality of service on RER Line B, the MI20 train fleet will replace the existing MI79 and MI84 type trainsets currently in operation, with delivery of the first train scheduled for the end of 2025.
